Outpatient Surgeries
Important information:
Some procedures, such as removing metal from the hand or foot, can be performed on an outpatient basis. You come to the clinic on the day of the operation and can walk again in the afternoon. Please ask the referring physician about the possibility of an outpatient operation; we will be happy to implement this for you.
- As a rule, the preparation takes place beforehand in the consultation hour or at an appointment with the outpatient doctor. Here the operation will be explained to you, possibly blood will be taken and you will be given an appointment for the day of the operation.
- If the operation cannot be performed under local anaesthesia, an appointment will also be necessary during the anaesthesia consultation.
- On the day of the operation, you will report to your assigned ward at the agreed time.
- Outpatient operations are also performed in our normal operating rooms of the clinic.
- After the operation, you can rest until you can go home.
You have to bring with you:
- Insurance card
- X-rays, if these were not taken with us.
- Please leave valuables at home.
To clarify:
- Who can take you home after the operation?
- Please inform us before the operation about allergies and secondary illnesses such as heart or circulation problems!
