DGOU Teaching Group
The German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery e. V. (DGOU), based in Berlin, is a medical society with around 10,000 members. As an association, it bundles the goals and tasks of its two supporting associations, the German Society for Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Orthopädie und Orthopädische Chirurgie e.V.). (DGOOC) and the German Society for Trauma Surgery (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Unfallchirurgie e.V.). (DGU). It thus represents the interests of orthopaedics and trauma surgery in the fields of research, teaching, further education, clinic and practice as well as in the regulatory framework of health policy.
