OHD-Physician, Rehab-Planning
Accident insured who is injured at work must be presented to a general practitioner. The costs are incurred by the responsible professional associations. The procedure for the treatment of occupational accidents is regulated by the GSocial Security Code 7 .
The OHD-physician determines the diagnosis after an anamnesis and clinical examination and carries out the primary care as well as all further treatments. Occasionally, consultation with other specialists is required. All important data is then reported to the accident insurance agency in the accident insurance consultation report.
The accident insurance physician is repsonsible for:
- The planning, initiation and monitoring of physiotherapeutic measures during in-patient acute treatment.
- The seamless planning, prescription and, if necessary, monitoring of physiotherapeutic measures, including advanced outpatient physiotherapy (EAP).
- The seamless transition to outpatient follow-up. The attending physician must be provided with the necessary medical documents without delay.
The medical treatment in the accident insurance consultation report thus has, over the often strong economic constraints of the statutory health insurance, clear benefits for the insured.
Over 2400 general and special medical treatments were performed in our emergency room in 2015. In the OHD-doctor consultation in 2015, more than 1000 new patients were treated. Patients receive regional and supraregional care within the framework of the injury-type procedure (VAV) and the severe injury-type procedure (SAV).
The special BG rehabilitation consultation hour is set up for patients from Saxony-Anhalt and the neighboring federal states.
We work closely together with the local university clinic for orthopedics, neurosurgery, PÄH, maxillofacial surgery, ENT surgery, pediatric surgery, dermatology and ophthalmology as well as qualified rehabilitation facilities, thus enabling seamless follow-up.
